The lean is the real difference
Blue Runtz is classified 65% indica / 35% sativa — the most indica-leaning of the four flowers we stock. Guava Runtz is an even 50/50, and the only strain on the shelf classified that way.
These are classifications the producer assigns, and we report them because the maker states them. They describe how the plant is categorised rather than what it will do.
Different Runtz on both sides
The shared name is doing less work than it appears to. Blue Runtz is Blueberry crossed with White Runtz; Guava Runtz is Guava crossed with Runtz. Those are different parents on both halves of the cross — one contributes a berry line and White Runtz specifically, the other a tropical line and Runtz generally.
Genetics is the most checkable thing on a flower label, which is why it is worth reading past the strain name. Two products can share a word and share very little else.
