What is guaranteed
Every box holds at least three items. That is a floor rather than an estimate — three is the minimum, and it is stated as a commitment rather than a typical case.
There is also a chance of an extra item drawn from a shelf you did not pick. That one is a possibility and is described as one; it is not part of the floor.
What is not fixed, and cannot be
Contents are chosen when the box is packed. They cannot be requested, previewed, or exchanged — and a box is not returnable once shipped.
That last point deserves emphasis because it is the one people are surprised by. Our ordinary returns policy runs 14 days from delivery; a mystery box is outside it, for the obvious reason that a sealed assortment whose value is that nobody knows what is in it cannot survive being opened and sent back.
So the honest way to think about a box is as a purchase you have decided to be happy with before it arrives. If you need a specific product, buy that product.

The product page for a mystery box carries a much shorter specification table than anything else in the shop, and that is deliberate rather than an omission. Almost nothing about a box is fixed before it is packed, and adding a row to fill the table would be inventing a promise.
